Join the Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Insights and Analytics team and be at the forefront of transforming how businesses derive insights from customer data. We are pioneering the migration of legacy reporting and dashboards to Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), demonstrating an agentic approach that empowers users to generate analytics and dashboards through natural language. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in building scalable, intelligent systems that democratize access to data for business users. You’ll work at the intersection of data science, analytics, and innovative AI, solving complex challenges in data modeling, reporting, and dashboarding. What you'll Do

  • Build technical specifications, prototypes and presentations to communicate your ideas
  • Design, build, improve and maintain highly performant and highly scalable services and data processing pipelines
  • Work in a small, collaborative, highly productive, and high output team environment
  • Champion standard methodologies and process improvements within the team
  • Learn new technologies and technical solutions

What you need to succeed

  • 3+ years of software development experience at major technology companies and/or software startups building SaaS products and Agents
  • Real passion for solving complex customer problems using data insights, data science and analytics
  • General understanding of data structures, algorithms and distributed computing concepts 
  • Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability to evolving priorities, and the ability to work autonomously. 
  • Proficiency in Python, Spark, SQL, etc and Apache Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, DAX and ETL 
  • Experience in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Adobe Analytics
  • B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • A total of 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in advanced analytics and data science, machine learning/statistics. 
  • Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability to evolving priorities, and the ability to work autonomously. 
  • Proficient understanding of  Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, A/B Testing, Customer Segmentation

  • A relentless pursuit of great customer experiences and continuous improvements to the product.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
