About the Client
Our client runs one of the world's largest genealogy and family history platforms, providing access to billions of historical records for millions of users across the globe. Their mission is to help people discover, preserve, and connect family history. This means the integrity, availability and performance of their infrastructure are non-negotiable.
With continuous indexing of digitized records at a massive scale and a user base that spans every continent, their engineering team needs a seasoned SRE who can strengthen observability, drive automation, and keep systems running reliably under significant load.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a mature engineering team and take ownership of Dynatrace-based observability and automation. You will design and implement automated configurations, consume and integrate REST APIs, and write TypeScript-based tooling to support platform reliability at scale.
What You Need to Succeed in This Role
Solid experience automating Datadog or Dynatrace configuration at scale.
Strong hands-on experience consuming REST APIs, particularly Dynatrace APIs.
Proficiency in TypeScript for tooling and automation development.
Strong understanding of SRE principles: reliability, observability, incident response, and automation.
Experience working in fast-paced engineering environments with high ownership expectations.
Nice to Have
Experience with AWS Lambda for serverless automation workflows.
Familiarity with AWS CodeBuild for CI/CD pipeline management.
Experience with AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
