What you'll do

  • Architect and develop cutting-edge distributed systems and frameworks that serve as the backbone of our product development ecosystem at X

  • Help X product engineering scale new products and features to millions of users

  • Create hyper-optimized building blocks that streamline engineering workflows and accelerate product iteration

  • Evaluate, productionalize and contribute to modern technologies from the open source space.

  • Pioneer innovative solutions in:

    • Billion scale serverless execution architectures

    • High performance and low latency APIs

    • Cross platform Server-driven UI systems

    • Automatic API generation with seamless client integration

    • Developer tooling and productivity enhancements

Who you are 

  • At least 2 years of building software applications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, CE, EE or the equivalent in experience

  • A passion for building systems that empower other engineers

  • Demonstrated success with scalable web applications or distributed systems

  • Passionate, dedicated, smart but humble, with a bias for action and for enabling others’ success
