Join Also as a Firmware Engineering Intern and contribute to cutting-edge embedded systems development. You'll design and implement firmware solutions for our mobility products while gaining hands-on experience with modern development practices and testing frameworks.

What You Will Do

  • Develop embedded firmware for product testing and validation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

  • Ride and test your developments on our TM-B vehicle and other future platforms

What You Will Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • Proficiency in C programming

  • Understanding of embedded systems fundamentals

  • Python scripting experience

  • ARM Cortex-M microcontroller experience

  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

  • Build system experience (Bazel, West, CMake, Make, or similar)

  • Version control systems (Git)

  • Structured software development approach

  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective team collaboration across departments

  • Clear communication about knowledge gaps and learning needs

  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments

  • Self-motivated with strong initiative

  • Graduation date of 2027

What You’ll Learn
  • How to design, implement, and debug embedded firmware for real mobility products

  • Hands-on experience programming in C for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers

  • How embedded systems interact with hardware, sensors, actuators, and real-world conditions

  • How to write supporting Python scripts for testing, tooling, and automation

  • How modern build systems work (Bazel, West, CMake, Make, etc.)

  • How to use CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to build, test, and ship firmware

Preferred Experience

  • RTOS Experience

  • Previous internship or project work in a startup, automotive, or mobility company

The hourly rate for this role ranges from $30.00 to $45.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
