Staff Software Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to lead the design, development, and optimization of our cloud-native infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong technical acumen, strategic thinking, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and reliable systems. 

What You’ll Need 
  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
  • Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and policy management (OPA, Kyverno).
  • Exposure to cost optimization and FinOps practices. 
What You’ll Do
Design and implement scalable and resilient infrastructure on AWS using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Lead the architecture and lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters in production environments. Drive best practices around cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident response. Collaborate with platform, SRE, and application teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and cost-effective systems. Mentor junior engineers and influence cross-functional teams with infrastructure expertise. Champion automation, observability, and performance tuning across the stack.
Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $197,600-$247,000 annually, plus RSUs and bonuses. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including unlimited PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
