Staff Software Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to lead the design, development, and optimization of our cloud-native infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong technical acumen, strategic thinking, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
What You’ll Need- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles.
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
- Strong proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and policy management (OPA, Kyverno).
- Exposure to cost optimization and FinOps practices.
The base pay range for this position is $197,600-$247,000 annually, plus RSUs and bonuses. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including unlimited PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
