About the Role 

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving PHM’s growth with self-insured employers, captive insurers and their member companies, and other organizations seeking to enhance the health and productivity of their employees. This role is focused on building on existing self-insured client relationships, identifying opportunities to broaden adoption of PHM within their member companies, and playing a pivotal role in expanding our business with one of our rapidly growing markets.  

You will help clients understand the impact of complex conditions, like cancer, on their workforce and business, and guide them in adopting PHM programs that improve outcomes while managing costs. To achieve this, you’ll work in close partnership with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to deliver compelling strategies that expand PHM’s reach and deepen our impact. 

What You’ll Accomplish 

  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to captive organizations, with an emphasis on uncovering new opportunities to expand to their member companies. 
  • Identify, cultivate, and close expansion opportunities within existing captive structures. 
  • Act as a subject matter expert during, especially with captive insurers and self-insured employers, showcasing PHM’s differentiated value proposition. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to integrate PHM services into client benefit ecosystems, driving member engagement and measurable outcomes. 
  • Provide clear reporting and insights that demonstrate PHM’s value and reinforce opportunities for further adoption. 
  • Collaborate with sales and clinical resources to deliver on growth objectives and strengthen long-term client relationships. 

What You Bring to the Table 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of demonstrated success in business development, client growth, and account expansion. 
  • Experience engaging with captive insurers and other self-insured employers highly valued. 
  • You pair a proven ability to establish yourself as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders with a high sales drive to drive adoption of high-value solutions. 
  • Strong executive presence and excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills. 
  • High level of technology literacy, with the ability to navigate complex client data and benefit ecosystems. 
  • Availability and ability to travel regularly. 

Compensation & Benefits 

The target OTE of this position is $150,000-$180,000, with the potential to earn significantly more via an incentive plan. A base salary range of $125,000-$150,000 plus commission and bonus incentives are anticipated. 

Cash compensation is only one part of PHM’s total rewards package, which also includes health/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) with match, flexible PTO, access to PHM’s world-class care navigation services, and other benefits. Final compensation may vary based on experience, location, and other factors. 

Location 

This is a remote role requiring significant travel.
