Team: Talent Acquisition
Reports to: VP of People
Location: Remote
Compensation: $10,000/month for a 3 month retainer
Here's why we are excited about this opportunity:
As a Technical Recruiter on our Talent Acquisition team, you’ll be at the heart of expanding the engineering and product teams that drive our company’s success. In this role, you will partner directly with the VP of People and collaborate with leaders across the company to identify, attract, and secure exceptional technical talent. Your work will have an immediate and lasting impact, shaping the culture and capabilities of our rapidly growing organization.
This is a unique opportunity to own the full recruitment lifecycle in a dynamic startup environment where your insights and creativity are highly valued. You’ll have the autonomy to design and implement sourcing strategies, experiment with new tools and approaches, and help define what “great talent” looks like for us. Every hire you make will be instrumental to our mission, and you’ll have a seat at the table as we scale our ambitious team.
We are committed to fostering a culture where you can grow your skills, expand your network, and make meaningful contributions from day one. If you thrive on challenge, value collaboration, and want to see your work directly influence a company’s trajectory, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Here's what we're looking for:
- A proactive, self-driven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment and enjoys taking initiative.
- Someone who is passionate about building inclusive teams and brings a thoughtful, people-centric approach to every search.
- An agile collaborator who communicates transparently and works seamlessly across functions and seniority levels.
- An analytical thinker who uses data and market insights to inform hiring strategies and decisions.
- A resilient problem-solver who adapts quickly, iterates on feedback, and is committed to continuous improvement.
Your Skillset:
- Proven expertise in sourcing, engaging, and assessing technical talent using a variety of channels and platforms.
- Demonstrated understanding of technical roles (such as software engineering, data science, DevOps) and the ability to evaluate both hard and soft skills.
- Skilled in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding handover.
- Clear and proactive communicator across both technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and transparency at every stage.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple searches and manage competing deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Adept at using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment analytics tools, and modern sourcing technologies.
Your Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on technical recruiting experience, ideally within high-growth startups or technology-driven organizations.
- Demonstrated track record of hiring for a range of technical positions, from individual contributors to senior engineering leaders.
- Experience with souring for niche unicorn roles through other avenues outside of LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Experience with different tooling to identify candidates faster.
- Experience working as part of a distributed or remote team, with a history of successful virtual collaboration.
- Familiarity with best practices in equitable and inclusive hiring, including structured interviews and bias mitigation
Here are your responsibilities and expected outcomes:
- Partner with hiring managers and the VP of People to deeply understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team culture for each search.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of highly qualified technical candidates through creative sourcing, networking, and direct outreach.
- Conduct thorough screening interviews, accurately assessing candidates’ technical abilities, cultural add, and long-term potential.
- Guide candidates and hiring teams through a positive, transparent, and efficient recruitment process from first contact through offer acceptance.
- Leverage data and metrics to track, report, and continuously improve recruitment funnel performance and candidate experience.
- Act as an ambassador for our employer brand, promoting our values and opportunities to diverse talent communities.
- Ensure all recruiting processes are compliant, equitable, and aligned with our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We look forward to welcoming a recruiting leader who is as passionate about finding great people as we are about building an exceptional company.
