Responsibilities
- Content Ecosystem Analysis: Analyze performance data to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and content needs across various technical platforms and user flows (documentation, API references, product dashboards).
- UX Content Improvement: Work alongside technical writers and UX strategists to implement content-driven improvements, focusing on clarity, consistency, and organization of technical information for diverse developer audiences.
- User Journey Mapping: Focus on seeing the "bigger picture" by mapping out complex developer journeys and proposing structural or content changes to streamline new user onboarding and feature adoption.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the content connection point between Developer Experience teams, Technical Writing, and Product teams to ensure all content is accurate, usable, and strategically placed.
- AI & Code Integration: Explore and implement the use of AI tools and technical content structures (e.g., "vibe coding" or YAML/Markdown organization) to improve content modularity and efficiency.
- Currently pursuing a degree in a field requiring Journalism, Marketing, Technical Communication, Information Science, Computer Science, or UX/HCI.
- A portfolio of writing samples or case studies demonstrating the ability to structure and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Technical Comfortability: Demonstrated high comfort level with or a fierce eagerness to learn technical concepts, developer tools, and content platforms.
- UX "Chops": Foundational understanding of user experience principles and how content impacts the user journey.
- Strong organizational and collaborative skills, with the professionalism to work with technical experts and product leadership.
- Proven proactive and responsible attitude with the willingness to partner in leading projects and owning outcomes from concept to completion.
- Demonstrated capacity for self-management, and a positive response to feedback as a tool for rapid growth.
- Experience or interest in coding, version control (Git), or actively editing/writing in platforms that require technical content structures (Markdown, YAML, etc.).
- Familiarity with content analytics, A/B testing, or using data visualization tools to drive content decisions.
- Practical experience leveraging generative AI and prompt engineering to improve content quality or team efficiency.
- Experience with design tools (Figma) and understanding how content works within component-based design systems.
