About Qualys Advanced RiskOps Group (Q-ARG)

The Advanced RiskOps Group (Q-ARG) is a newly formed, highly specialized business unit within Qualys focused on delivering next-generation cyber risk management services. Q-ARG integrates deep technical expertise, advanced analytics, and innovative services to accelerate customer adoption of Enterprise TruRisk Management (ETM) and drive measurable business outcomes in cyber risk reduction.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vice President to lead and scale the day-to-day operations of Q-ARG. This executive will be accountable for building a world-class team, operationalizing delivery, and ensuring alignment with Qualys’ growth strategy. The VP will act as both a strategic operator and hands-on leader—balancing execution, customer success, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership

    • Lead the daily operations of Q-ARG across global hubs, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.

    • Build and scale processes for customer onboarding, delivery, and lifecycle management.

    • Partner with Product, Sales, and ROC teams to ensure seamless integration of ETM services into customer environments.

  • Business Growth & Strategy

    • Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans and measurable OKRs.

    • Drive ETM pull-through, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with Sales.

    • Shape Q-ARG offerings into differentiated service tiers aligned with customer needs.

  • Team Building & Talent Development

    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a global, highly technical team of risk analysts, data scientists, and engineers.

    • Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and technical excellence.

    • Implement training and certification paths to build deep ETM and TruRisk expertise.

  • Customer Impact & Innovation

    • Act as executive sponsor for strategic customers, ensuring delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with partners to co-develop Managed ROC (mROC) services, extending Q-ARG’s reach.

    • Lead innovation efforts to rapidly prototype and operationalize new cyber risk solutions.

  • Metrics & Accountability

    • Own P&L accountability for Q-ARG.

    • Define and track KPIs around customer risk reduction, ETM adoption, and service profitability.

    • Regularly brief executive leadership and the board on performance and strategic priorities.

Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or enterprise technology services.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling global service organizations (preferably within SaaS, MSSP, or consulting environments).

  • Strong technical foundation in vulnerability management, risk quantification, and exposure management.

  • Deep understanding of ETM, FAIR, and cyber risk frameworks.

  • Executive presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive innovation at scale.

Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to shape a flagship new business unit at Qualys, define the future of cyber risk services, and have a direct impact on how enterprises manage and reduce risk globally. The VP of Q-ARG will play a pivotal role in positioning Qualys as the industry leader in cyber risk operations.
