Role Description

As the Virtual Events Marketing Manager, you’ll be able to build new global programs from the ground up. Your main role will be to create the strategy, implementation, and optimization of a new webinar and virtual events program to drive demand, reach, and engagement within our target accounts. ‌You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product marketing, and customer success to create impactful webinar experience.  These experiences will align with the Dropbox brand and visual design guidelines and drive measurable impact to the business.  This is a high-impact and visible role for a creative and data-driven marketing with expertise in digital event management.   

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a comprehensive virtual events strategy to support demand generation and engagement goals within target accounts
  • Build a new webinar and virtual events program that includes the planning, production and execution of webinars
  • Create an editorial calendar in partnership with Campaign and Content Strategy teams that encompasses thought leadership, demand generation, and account engagement topics
  • Coordinate logistics, technology, and production, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality attendee experiences
  • Develop pre-event and post-event strategies to maximize registration, attendance, and engagement
  • Track and analyze webinar performance and make recommendations to increase attendance, reach, and conversion 
  • Manage external vendors and platforms, negotiating contracts and ensuring budget alignment
  • Partner with the Content Strategy & Ops team to build the promotional materials, landing pages, and other assets to drive attendance 

Requirements

  • 6-9 years experience in marketing within a B2B SaaS based technology company—with 2+ years experience with a focus on field marketing and/or webinar and virtual events
  • Experience building global programs from the ground up within an organization
  • Experience working cross-functionally to build the business requirements for new webinar platforms and/or marketing processes.
  • Knowledge of B2B lead flow process and the ability to partner across Marketing Ops, Funnel Ops, and Sales
  • Data-driven marketing with experience reviewing performance to share insights and recommendations for program optimization
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in marketing SaaS productivity or related categories, with a strong understanding of sales-assisted and product-led growth models
  • Experience in building and scaling virtual marketing programs from the ground up 
  • Experience or in partnering with third-party vendors and analysts to expand reach to new audiences
