About the role: 

HoneyBook’s marketing creative team is seeking a Web Designer who will focus on design of our marketing site as well as paid channels. You will support our the brand team in building design systems, make accessibility recommendations and refinements, and create original concepts for growth-optimized pages. You will be responsible for developing design new assets as well as updating existing pages all while, collaborating with copy and content teams, and working with marketing channel owners to turn ideas into reality.

Candidates should feel comfortable working with creatives throughout a well-constructed process while being able to effectively communicate with non-creatives. Whatever the brief, you seek to build an authentic connection with employees in order to bring HoneyBook’s global culture to life. 

This role will require you to be in our San Francisco office 2–3 days per week (the current expectation is Wednesdays & Thursdays).

Here are a few of the things you will work on:

  • Work directly with Marketing to build, test, and refine landing pages. 
  • Develop page templates based on that can be repeatable and streamline the development process.
  • Refine our existing design system, maintain existing pages and create new content. 
  • Work hands on with internal and external development teams. 
  • Partner with GTMs and Marketing Ops to ensure assets are optimized for all platforms and use cases. 
  • Maintain consistent quality through a rigorous QA.

Here is what is needed:

  • 4+ years of experience working in a designer role, either in an ad agency and/or in-house studio environment as a designer/web designer.
  • A love for the craft of brand storytelling and advertising, in all forms—all standing on a solid, fundamental foundation: great design.
  • Highly collaborative and resourceful. An entrepreneurial mindset, able to blaze trails as needed.
  • Strong executional and conceptual thinking: defining scalable brand design systems. Whether it’s typography, photography, grid systems, or color, you draw inspiration from a wide range of creative outlets and bring that to your daily work.
  • Demonstrated fluency with design tools including Figma and the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud. Competency working in GSuite products and Keynote. Experience directing animations and motion graphics a plus.
  • Familiarity with Notion or other known project management tools.
  • A passion for building and seeking a design community.
