The position of Facilities Technician is expected to partner with the organization to support the Facility Department functions in all areas of operations and Logistics.
This role is based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters and works in-office from Monday - Friday
You will:
- Coordinate the shipment of outgoing packages, including preparing shipping labels and documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels
- Organize and store materials, supplies, and equipment in designated areas
- Communicate with vendors and carriers to resolve any shipping or receiving issues
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Perform Building rounds
- Respond to tickets and slacks regularly
- Support vendor site visits and support moves when possible.
- Support setup/breakdown of onsite events, meetings, training, etc
You have:
- 7+ years proven experience
- Strong knowledge of Shipping and Logistics Procedures for all Express carriers, preferable FedEx knowledge on rate negotiations, and services offered on their platform
- International shipping knowledge of Customs Procedures and Documentation for worldwide shipping regulations
- Strong communicator and self starter
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask
- Can be productive and effective with minimal supervision
- Duties may/will require work during evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in Google Suite
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$99,920—$133,430 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
