Swift is seeking an outstanding Customer Program Manager to manage various industry engagements. You will be responsible for working with internal business and engineering teams as well as external customers to turn our product vision into tangible tasks that result in real products. Swift Navigation is looking for a GIS Analyst to work as both a map designer and a GIS developer in our Network Team. You will be working with a small team to create spatial data sets, run spatial analysis, gather inputs from different databases, prepare maps, dashboards and reports. The silicon ecosystem is a crucial part of Swift’s strategy to penetrate and win pinpoint positioning applications for autonomous vehicles, last-mile delivery, urban personal transport, and industrial applications like rail, construction and precision agriculture. The role involves continuous Partner development and relationship management, securing commercial contracts that grow business for Swift and our silicon Partners, and championing deeper technical engagement around new GNSS technology as our Partners develop them.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and based in San Francisco, California, the Senior Software Sales Manager is responsible for sales of Swift’s GNSS end-to-end solutions including Starling Positioning Engine Software IP, the Skylark Cloud Corrections Service and hardware enablement products such as Piksi Multi and Duro to our customers in North America. The role involves continuous prospecting, selling and relationship management of Swift’s customers in market segments including rail, agriculture, construction, last-mile delivery, urban personal transport and other autonomous and semi-autonomous applications. The primary focus will be on long-term contracts with strategic, enterprise and OEM customers.

The ideal candidate has contributed to the design and implementation of a production-grade GNSS / INS sensor fusion engine. He/she is a master of the principles of inertial navigation, is familiar with filtering techniques applied to non-linear systems and has experience with challenges related to real-world IMU measurements (vibrations,..) . He/she has deep experience working in C++ for the development and commercialization of sensor fusion algorithms.

Swift Navigation is looking for a Senior GNSS Positioning Algorithm engineer to join its world leading estimation team. We are a small close-knit team that is working to develop the next generation of GNSS positioning algorithms to enable high precision positioning in the mass market. We are looking for an individual that would has a passion for positioning technologies and experience working in C++ for the development and commercialization of GNSS positioning algorithms. A higher level degree and 2+ years experience working with high precision technologies such as RTK, Network RTK, PPP or sensor fusion algorithms would be a plus.

Swift Navigation is looking for an outstanding Senior Software Engineer (C++) with cross-platform architecture experience to work on the core of our GNSS receiver technology. You will be working with a small team to push the state of the art in satellite navigation technology, making high accuracy positioning ubiquitous and easy to use across a wide variety of industries and applications in unmanned aerial vehicles, robotics and autonomous transportation. Your focus will be the development of systems software to support multiple embedded platforms. You will own the full lifecycle of development for important new features, beginning with prototyping and design, through implementation, testing, verification and release.

Develop functional and technical safety concepts to achieve and maintain safety of automotive systems per ISO 26262 requirements. Lead functional safety activities during all project phases (concept, requirements, design, and verification & validation). Oversee functional safety architecture and create requirements to the safety case. Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, using methods such as FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, and other safety analysis approaches. Collaborate with systems teams, project managers, development teams and customers on technical aspects of functional safety. Oversee functional safety architecture and performance requirements elicitation and test case development for safety-critical assurance processes; Conduct technical reviews with product teams to ensure functional safety requirements are being met throughout product development cycles.

Extensive experience with managing and building services on cloud infrastructure. Experience with monitoring and metrics infrastructure. Experience with container-based infrastructure and orchestration. Experience with automated configuration and infrastructure-as-code. Programming experience. A solid understanding of distributed systems (pitfalls, scaling issues, residency, integrity) to include algorithms, data structures, data stores, and the use of database systems in these environments. Experience creating and operating scalable and highly-available production services.
