About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and talented SOX IT Auditor with SOX compliance experience to join our growing and dynamic Internal Audit team. This position will report directly to the SOX IT Manager.
What You'll Do:
- This person will support the planning and execution of the SOX program with a primary focus on ITGCs, IT dependencies (e.g., automated controls and key reports), and impact assessments for projects related to financial system implementations.
- The candidate in this role will collaborate with the SOX program team and work cross-functionally with IT, process owners, and business owners to understand processes and risks, test the design and operating effectiveness of controls, and assess the reliability of system-generated information.
What You'll Need:
- BA/BS degree in accounting, computer science, information systems, data analytics, finance, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of auditing experience and relevant certifications, such as CIA, CPA, CISA and CFE. Preferred CISA or working towards designation.
- Strong technical skills and working knowledge of COSO, ICFR, GAAP, ITGC domains (i.e., access management, change management, computer operations, program development), and globally recognized risk frameworks and auditing standards.
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of the integrated audit, configuration of security and automated business process controls, and data interpretation for auditing.
- Ability to quickly identify and communicate key risks and potential impacts.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills including experience working on multi-national teams.
- Experience drafting impactful and persuasive audit findings appropriate for both technical and not technical audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, virtual environment.
- Participate in operational audits walkthroughs and testing aimed to assess IT and business risks within the company.
Bonus Points:
- Prior experience auditing an organisation in a SaaS financial systems environment.
- Big 4 public accounting experience or recent IPO experience a plus.
- Hands-on experience interpreting common programming languages, such as, SQL, JavaScript, Python, and Visual Basic for Applications.
- Experience with waterfall, DevOps, and agile system development methodologies, including CI/CD practices, automated change testing, and industry leading software used in a toolchain.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $65,000 - $110,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
