About Rippling

Rippling is the first way for businesses to manage their HR & IT — from payroll and benefits, to employee computers and apps — all in one, modern system.

In just 90-seconds, a company can set up (or disable) an employee’s payroll, health insurance, work computer, and third-party apps, like Gmail, Microsoft Office, and Slack. It’s the only platform that truly unifies every employee system, and automates all of the administrative work.

Rippling is headquartered in San Francisco and has raised over $200M from top-tier investors, including Founders Fund, Greenoaks Capital, Coatue Management, Kleiner Perkins, and YCombinator.

About the Role:

HR tech unicorn Rippling is looking for a seasoned Content Lead to build our content program from the ground up. Equal parts writer, editor, and strategist, this is a role for someone who cares deeply about quality over quantity. Someone seriously creative who can create seriously interesting content, whether it’s a tweet, a white paper, or a podcast series. We’re not producing content just for the heck of it, so you’ll also need business chops and a firm grasp on metrics.

Reporting to the VP Communications, you’ll work with every team in the company to tell our story, speak directly to our target audiences, and establish Ripping as The Next Big Thing.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive Content Strategy, Calendar & Budget: As Content Lead, you’re the owner of your own business. You’ll be responsible for creating, managing, and executing our entire content strategy and editorial calendar.
  • Write, Edit, Rinse, Repeat: When it comes to content, it’s your world and we’re just living in it. The sales, growth and marketing teams will look to you to create blog posts, social media content, emails, webinars, video scripts, whitepapers, newsletters, and more.
  • Drive Revenue & Track Performance: You’ll work hand-in-hand with the growth team to help create assets for every stage of the buyer’s journey, and track the performance of your content.
  • Prove Success & Scale Program: You’ll be able to hire freelancers and agencies to help scale content programs that work. The more successful you are, the more resources you’ll get. The long term goal is to build a world class, in-house content team.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience writing, editing and optimizing content across multiple channels (journalism experience a big plus!)

  • Strong strategic, creative and critical thinking, with a knack for story-telling, and attention to detail

  • Ability to delegate and collaborate with team members, contractors, and agencies

  • Proven track record of producing content that meets ambitious performance goals

  • You really, really like to write. Strategy is important, but you need to enjoy execution, too

  • You understand the value of visual storytelling and have the ability and interest to work with designers, and create graphics, videos, gifs, screenshots, etc. to complement your writing

Even if you don’t meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply. Skills can be used in lots of different ways and your life and professional experience may be relevant beyond what a list of requirements will capture.

Rippling is an equal opportunity employer.
