As Publishing Associate, you will support the Documentation team at Sage Intacct by preparing and publishing content for multiple products and countries. Responsibilities include working with writers to prepare and test content, as well as maintaining schedules, scripts, and publishing tools. As a result of your work, Sage Intacct users will have access to a diverse set of high-quality content, which is accessible to them in the product at the point of need.

The Documentation team creates solutions-oriented content that supports users' ability to learn and use Sage Intacct, the leading cloud-based accounting software for the mid-market. Content is highly integrated within the product and includes a diverse set of content types including field help, help topics, release notes, PDF documents, in-product messaging, user interface text, and more.

Strong problem-solving and technical skills, combined with a drive for fostering team success, are critical for this role.

This role is ideal for a student who has recently graduated or who is in the process of finishing their degree. Initial hours can be either part-time or full-time, with the goal of transitioning to a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with content writers on publishing and testing activities
  • Support the Documentation team through targeted content updates, promoting quality, consistency, and usability
  • Prepare and test content in staging environments
  • Build and push content to the live environment, ensuring that content is accessible and available to users
  • Streamline and automate the publishing process, reducing time to publish, through a combination of tools, processes, and scripting

Requirements:

  • Experience with help tools, such as MadCap Flare
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and proofreading skills
  • "Hands on" attitude and passion for technology
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS degree preferred
