General Purpose:

We are seeking a talented data analyst to join Corsair to drive analyzing, reporting, and growing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the data and gaming industry.

  • You will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and evolving insightful and aesthetical BI dashboards to drives business value.
  • You will partner cross-functionally with different teams to understand business requirements, gather insights, and track business activities.
  • You will work on multiple projects at a time, focusing on the details while finding creative ways to solve challenges.
  • You will be the bridge between business and technical teams to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly at varying levels of the organization.
  • You will become an expert on all aspects of Corsair’s data and gaming industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, aggregate, and summarize internal and external data with a solid focus on data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on-time and to user specifications.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis, business intelligence solutions, and statistic methods to provide both qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Work with data engineers to investigate issues, implement requests, and automate solutions that help organize data towards a single source of truth.
  • Maintain high-level data quality, audit all data and metrics, debug DAX codes to solve reporting issues.
  • Responsible for working with internal users across different teams to ensure timely solutions and support for analytic requests, data issues, and broader problems.
  • Create ad-hoc analysis to drive business initiatives forward and provide recommendations to stakeholders with metrics and visualizations.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle work to tight deadlines and the pressure of executive requests.

Qualifications:

Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other quantitative fields.
  • 1-3 years working experience in business intelligence and data analysis, or other data-intensive role.
  • Experience in gaming industry is preferred

Analytical/Data Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with complex functions are required.
  • Ability to build functional and insightful dashboards in Power BI or Tableau. Proficient DAX coding is a big plus.
  • Strong analytics and visualization skills with ability to turn data into insights and recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of key KPIs in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations.
  • Knowledge of database structure, ETL, data pipelines and SQL skills, big data experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms is preferred.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn Python and R focusing on analytical and statistical packages.
  • Knowledge about Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Snowflake.
  • Excellent communication skills across written, slide deck, and verbal presentation mediums.

  • Strong attention to detail with high standards, with a phenomenal sense of ownership over your work.
  • Work can be performed independently with problem-solving spirit.
  • Self-motivated who can adapt quickly to new challenges, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Openness to work with different cultures and offshore teams in different time zone.
  • Keen learner who likes to stay on top of new technologies for analytics and visualization.
