We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join our product team to develop a suite of monitoring and validation tools to ensure ongoing data quality across our pipelines.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for monitoring the health of Helio’s data source pipelines
• You will understand the downstream uses of our data in order to implement and maintain data requirements & validations
• You will work with engineering and product managers to help build internal tools and processes that can provide better proactive detection and reactive support of data issues
• You will lead coordination with external data providers to capture source requirements, triage issues, and ensure alignment of priorities
• You will help establish ways to measure the value of each data source to inform prioritization of new and existing sources

Requirements

• At least 2 years experience in a data analyst, business analyst or similar role 
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, statistics, data science, economics, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
• Strong SQL fluency with experience with a scripting language (preferably Python)
• Proven attention to detail that can effectively monitor and understand a large variety of sources
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Exceptional teamwork and communication - be able to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external partners
• Preference for experience working with data pipelines 
• A self-starter, comfortable working in a dynamic environment where you’ll need to triage planned work with unplanned data issues
