General Purpose:

• We seek an analytical expert, BI and Data Analyst with a strong experience buildings analytical systems and reporting data to help monitor and provide insights that drive business value.
• In this role, you will identify trends that can help C level at Corsair make business decisions to modernize and improve processes in the organization through detailed analysis, dashboard creation, and use of data analytics, data visualization, and data modeling technologies. . You will be comfortable working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with business managers, data engineers and offshore team, and our executives. Senior BI and Data Analyst skills also include familiarity with several BI tools, programming languages and knowledge of learning machine methods.
• Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.

Position Summary, Responsibilities, and Expectations:

• Communicate with business users in technical requirement collection, progress reporting and trouble solving
• Lead the effort to communicate state of the business to stakeholders regularly - enable audiences to understand the reasons behind the trends and provide insights to drive strategic decisions
• Analyze business data capability at different point of view and recommend to users the measurement
• Transform user’s requirements to offshore team
• Visualize data to be reported/dashboard
• Perform the role of Quality Control at each phase of development process
• Monitor and ensure actual progress meeting the project plan
• Contributes to Business Intelligence (BI) Projects
  • Build data systems and pipelines
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
  • Work closely with peers and user groups to ensure on-time execution of all deliverables
  • Provide day to day production support and off-hours support as required
  • Work is performed independently with minimal directions
  • Coordinate all aspects of information systems projects, planning, design, implementation, and management

Essential Skills and Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst or similar positions with direct experience in data analysis
• Familiar with business operation especially supply chain key metrics and financial metrics
• Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level
• Willing to work in collaborative, cross-functional group
• Intermediate to advanced T-SQL, PL/SQL skills
• Data modeling skills (normalization and star/snowflake schema)
• Data validation skills (anomaly detection and checksum)
• Data visualization skills (design thinking)
• Experience with SQL Server stack (SSMS, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS)
• Experience with Microsoft AWS Cloud based systems (or Microsoft Azure)
• Experience with Power BI, DAX functions
• Cloud applications and data security experience
• Good to know about Python, Google Bigquery, Snowflake, Spark, Hadoop,..
• Visual Studios experience
• Development of best practices (requirements gathering, project management, user acceptance testing, version control, support, maintenance, documentation, etc.)
