Partnership Strategy Manager
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Partnership Strategy Manager to help in growing Instacart’s partners portfolio by supporting strategic partnerships with various industry players across Tech, Telco, Media, Payments, Consumer, Retail, among others. The role plays a critical role in evaluating business development opportunities and providing relevant industry insights to drive effective decision making and negotiations strategies. Additionally, the role focuses on deal evaluation and on performing regular partner business reviews.
The role requires close cross-functional engagement with Product, Engineering and Marketing, and works hand in hand with Instacart’s strategy and finance teams to perform relevant analysis.
ABOUT THE JOB
Support business development strategies, focusing on product and growth partnerships
Perform industry and competitive analysis to support new deal types and partnerships
Evaluate new first-of-a-kind partnerships, financially and strategically
Support business reviews with partners to ensure delivery of sustainable high impact results
Own the performance review process and tools for a portfolio of partnerships
Support in the development of the business development team business plans
ABOUT YOU
6-8 years of strategy experience in the tech industry or in management consulting
Business development experience is a plus but is not required
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated strategic and financial acumen
Experience in financial modeling and business case development
Interest in the tech industry dynamics and business models
MBA degree preferred but not required
