About the Job: 

We’re looking for a Senior Strategic Analyst who will be an integral part in providing data-driven insights and a deep understanding of our customers and products. As a Senior Strategic Analyst, you’ll be working with various cross-functional teams to provide them with analytics support to inform both product and strategy prioritization. You’ll embed yourself deep in the world of trucking and help understand the forces that govern it. Working with geospatial, transportation, and economic data, you’ll help optimize the way freight moves throughout North America.

Responsibilities:

  •  Provide data-driven insights and a deep understanding of our customers and products to various cross-functional stakeholders
  • Apply statistical models and quantitative analysis on large datasets to measure and identify areas for improvement/optimization in the product and strategy
  • Communicate analysis and decision to high-level stakeholders and executives in verbal, visual, and written media
  • Develop data model and schema and work with data engineer to design the data pipeline and to ensure the quality of data ingestion.
  • Design and develop metrics, dashboards, reports and analyses to drive key business and product decisions to improve performance.
  • Educate and steer the organization towards adopting a more data-driven approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Math, Economics, or Statistics
  • 3+ years experience in data analysis
  • Expert in data- oriented programming (e.g. SQL) and statistical programming (e.g., R, Python)
  • Expert in applied probability and statistics
