Brand Production Designer
Help us bring the Faire brand to life and elevate our message through visual communications, online and in the real world.
About Faire
We believe that the future is local. That’s why we created Faire, a marketplace that empowers small business owners and independent makers to buy and sell wholesale online. Our platform supports a thriving Shop Local community, and we’ve already connected more than 60,000 local retailers with 8,500 plus wholesale makers.
About this role
Faire is a company invested in good design—as a Production Designer on the brand team, you’ll join a tight-knit, collaborative team of designers who care deeply about creating beautiful brand experiences. In this role, you'll help new maker brands show up beautifully on our marketplace, curating and preparing web, social, and email collateral.
As a Production Designer, you will:
- Learn from and contribute to the design team’s process, systems, and culture.
- Curate and select photography for new makers and marketplace campaigns.
- Create beautiful marketing for our core website and other touchpoints at Faire.
- Hone our Faire brand internally, through presentations, event marketing, and employee collateral.
- Clearly present and communicate concepts to the design team.
Qualifications
- A strong design portfolio that exhibits an appreciation for and mastery of design principles, an attention to detail, and a clear point of view.
- 1+ years working experience—ideal past experience includes consumer-facing companies in the e-commerce, retail, and marketplace sectors.
- BA/BFA/BS or equivalent four year degree or higher with a focus on graphic design or similar.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- A growth mindset. You’re open and receptive to feedback, and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
We value candidates that bring a range of experience from different industries and a variety of creative influences. If you’re a maker or retailer yourself and can bring first-hand experience and empathy for the small business and entrepreneurial journey, tell us your story!
