EPAM is looking for a talented, nimble UX Design leader to join our Experience Design team.

This role provides the opportunity to work in a wide array of industries to solve complex challenges in both established and emerging technologies. You’ll be exercising and expanding your strategic consulting, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and serving an international stable of clients.

You’ll play a client-facing role in leading teams, conducting research, and developing the strategy and UX design of smart, user-centered solutions. You will need to manage and mentor designers, champion effective processes, demonstrate a strong sense of craft, build trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and innovate collaboratively with globally distributed project teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead teams to deliver end-to-end UX design projects, ensuring outcomes meet both business and user goals
  • Mentor and grow your team members
  • Champion excellent user-centered design standards
  • Help facilitate workshops with clients to support them through a participatory design process
  • Lead user research
  • Build trusted relationships with internal/external account stakeholders
  • Ensure projects and tasks are delivered on time and within budget
  • Present design work confidently to stakeholders and build trusting relationships
  • Stay up to date with latest design and technology trends
  • Provide design solutions across various touchpoints (e.g. websites, mobile, apps)
  • Create design strategies, wireframes, prototypes, design systems
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of all aspects of the Experience Design approach, with the ability to apply them flexibly across a variety of project types
  • Strong experience with user flows, IA, site maps and wireframes, and with creating interactive prototypes at various levels of fidelity
  • Ideate and co-design with peers and clients in a positive and collaborative manner

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • A hunger to learn, humility to listen and smarts to deliver
  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in a user experience, information architecture or interaction design role
  • 5+ years experience managing teams
  • Strong client-facing consultation, communication and presentation skills
  • Work experience in a fast pace enviorment
  • Ability to collaborate well with others and a desire to learn and share knowledge with the wider team
  • Experience working in an agile environment within a multidisciplinary team
  • Expert knowledge with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with software such as Axure, Invision, Sketch and Illustrator
  • Relentless attention to detail
  • Experience working on large digital engagements
  • Willingness to travel
