Cloud Platform Engineer
Overview
The Cloud Engineering team is responsible for providing a world class SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) experience to the overall Engineering organization at Clumio.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own and drive internal initiatives to improve the overall Productivity of Clumio Engineering from local development to production for Clumio’s cloud-native SaaS platform.
- Design, develop, and implement new DevOps tools, and integrate third-party/open source tools into our internal toolchain.
- Drive the adoption of Best Practices that enable the development and deployment of scalable, secure and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to encourage best practices through frameworks and “engineering economies” rather than strict mandates.
Requirements
- Highly motivated self-starter with a builder's mindset; expect plenty of freedom and plenty of responsibilities.
- 5+ years of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment experience.
- Solid Software Engineering skills. Python, Go are prefered.
- Highly skilled in one or more Continuous Integration technologies (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Bazel, ...).
- Highly skilled in one or more Continuous Delivery/Deployment technologies (Container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Excellent communication skills. You influence decisions by collaborating with multiple teams and drive results with a combination of technical and communication skills.
- Preferred: experience in public cloud technologies on AWS, Azure, GCP.
