Bond is building a developer platform for financial technology companies and digital brands to build beautiful products for their customers. Our APIs allow companies to create financial products that delight their customers, take the guess work out of integrating with banks, and simplifying dozens of vendor contracts. We empower the developer with our tools so that they can focus on delighting their customers. As the Senior DevOps Manager:

You will: 

• Build efficient engineering frameworks and processes for quickly iterating and launching products into production
• Ensure we are up to date on the latest patches, security issues through automation and building security into our SDLC processes
• Work across our entire stack as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to improve our infrastructure and tooling to support scalable cloud-based applications
• Provide advisory expertise to other teams who need assistance with deployments, configurations, stability, performance, and issue resolution
• Take ownership of DevOps technical standards and configuration management strategies
• This is a player/coach position

You have:

• Bachelors or higher degree in CS, systems engineering, or a related STEM field
• 10+ years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• 2+ years experience managing a team
• Experience implementing and monitoring application performance and security controls in a cloud environment
• Extensive programming experience, preferably with Go and Python
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration tools, especially Kubernetes
• Deep understanding of Unix operating systems
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), especially as it relates to maintaining containerized applications
• Passion for engineering highly available performant systems

You also likely have:

• Domain expertise in security fundamentals
• Domain expertise in financial technology
• Experience in building infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management
