The Security Engineering team is looking for a seasoned corporate security manager to work on cloud IT, endpoint and business application security. You will be a part of our inclusive, collaborative team responsible for building a safe and reliable delivery network. On the Security team we need to protect all of our customers, as well as the logistics engine itself. It’s no simple task, but it wouldn’t be interesting if it was!

What You’ll Do 

• Work directly with the Head of Security Engineering and other senior leaders across the business to set strategy for IT and business application security
• Lead efforts to help implement and fine-tune our combination of custom engineered and off-the-shelf Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) systems
• Build and deploy technology to increase accuracy and efficiency of security sensitive processes such as offboarding and user provisioning 
• Lead from the front, understand the business, and build processes and tools from the ground up
• Own planning and implementation right away - as the business grows and your plan matures, recruit the foundational team, and shape the corporate security program at DoorDash for years to come

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of security engineering experience and 3+ years of experience in both management and a cloud-production environment
• Experience in designing, developing, and the implementation of access control systems
• Familiar with GSuite, AWS, Terraform, Okta, Crowdstrike and Airwatch
• Experience hardening operating systems with an emphasis on endpoint security 
• Proficiency in Python
