Sprig is looking for an experienced engineering manager to lead the Growth team. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape the growth product strategy and roadmap, and also design and develop features to empower the tremendous growth of Sprig customers.
This role is based in either San Francisco or New York City with one to two days working in office.
Your Impact
- Closely collaborate with the PM to set up quarterly planning, define the team roadmap, and design, develop and roll out growth product features.
- Lead engineers to set up best practice for development, QA, and collaboration. Also bear engineering excellence mindset to identify and resolve tech debts.
- Maintain a smooth and efficient communication channel with cross-functional teams, e.g., Product, Customer Success, and other Engineering teams, to ensure productive collaboration.
- Deliver continuous feedback and guidance to help engineer grow and maximize team productivity and efficiency.
Your Strengths
- 4+ years of software engineer experience with focus on product engineering
- 2+ years of engineering manager experience for a product development or a Growth team
- Demonstrate a strong track record of building and leading high caliber productive engineering teams.
- Experience in modern web development frameworks, architecture, and programming language.
- Tackle complex problems, but also consider and weigh multiple solutions and decide on the best course of action.
- Have a solid understanding of development and quality assurance methodologies. Be able to quickly iterate while keeping technical debt in mind.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with NodeJS & Express
- Experience working with a modern analytics stack (Segment, Mixpanel, Mozart, etc.)
- AWS, CI/CD, SQL and NoSQL databases
- TypeScript, React/Redux
- Working experience at fast growing SaaS startup companies. Experience in Growth domain of startup companies is a big plus.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $210,000 - $230,000 + Equity + Benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all locations (San Francisco, CA; New York, NY). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your Recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity or benefits.
