PeopleGlass is revolutionizing the way organizations interact with their data by bringing sleek modern interfaces to a space where UX has traditionally taken a back seat. As an early Frontend Engineer, you will build, test, and support major components of the PeopleGlass product to deliver on our vision of transforming the CRM experience. You will grow to own a significant part of the core product that our users love so much.

Responsibilities

• Worked closely with our backend engineer to ship major Engineering features. This includes the appropriate design process and communication as outlined in the project playbook.
• Ensure that the major features are being used and be able to tie back to core product metrics, especially feature-level usage.
• Work with the team to plan and own the features they build, including working with the team lead to scope out evaluation metrics beforehand and be accountable for hitting those metrics.
• Established strong relationships with Engineers inside and outside of your team.
• Participated in multiple code reviews, and became a go-to person for team design reviews of the aforementioned core component.
• Onboarded other Engineers to the codebase as necessary. Worked closely with other Engineers for any projects involving said component.
• Proactively participated in multiple customer escalations and system downtime incidents around the components they own.
• Demonstrated all behaviors defined in our Engineering Leveling Guidelines

Requirements

• Experience with React and contribute codebase in a self-sufficient way
• Worked with design to implement new frontend components
• Worked with backend to call relevant endpoints and make new ones as necessary
• Shipped features quickly
• Wrote extensible and performant code while following standard style conventions
• Worked with customers/users/stakeholders to respond to requests/bugs/feedback
