In this role as a Software Engineer, you’ll be working on our mobile and desktop web-based Fit Finder product, which is used by millions of visitors per month on our site to find their perfect size. You’ll also be working with numerous cross-functional stakeholders like the ML data science team, design, product, and creative to continue perfecting our Fit Finder. 

ThirdLove has a very unique stack. We are hosting the Fit Finder product on a custom front-end, utilizing typescript and react+redux. Our other products are leveraging Shopify’s platform. 

You will be responsible for helping us work on projects that our core to our customer experience. Your mission is to create purposeful, on-brand eCommerce experiences which drive new customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You are a humble self-starter who will get the job done right the first time, or who will set yourself and your team up for future success. You’re constantly asking how you can make something better and are passionate about using data for testing and learning. You’re a creative thinker who enjoys obsessing over customer experiences, pixel perfection, and delighted end-users.

THE JOB

• Build customer-facing features with quantifiably high impact 
• Suggest new features or technical improvements that could be implemented in the system
• Software development using agile methodologies

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-4 years of full-stack engineering experience
• Strong interpersonal skills working with non-technical partner teams, small teams, ideally in a startup or ecommerce environment
• Expert in HTML, CSS, Node.js ES6, TypeScript, React, Redux
• Experience with software engineering best practices
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you own your part of the product
• Preferably have ecommerce experience or a deep knowledge of the industry
