Sales Operations at BuildingConnected

As a Salesforce Developer at BuildingConnected, you would join a diverse, engaging team that delivers a significant impact across our org. The Sales Operations Salesforce team includes three Admins, a Developer, and a Project Manager. Together, you will work on unique projects, including a large Salesforce integration project that unites three fully developed instances into one instance (which will be run independently of Autodesk’s main SFDC).

With the integration of BuildingConnected, Plangrid and Assemble into “Autodesk Construction Solutions”, you will be able to grow your career in a fast-paced environment without the risks of a start-up. This unique situation allows you to work with team members from the best in both worlds, successful start-ups and a multinational company. 

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Operations & Sales Management to translate business requirements into solution designs that best achieve the target capabilities and use the platform effectively.
• Provide detailed estimates of the level of effort associated to implement capabilities based on business requirements and solution design.
• Partner with Sales Operations and Sales Management to address any platform performance issues to support the scale, and build new automation.
• Supply expertise in advanced Apex programming concepts including common design patterns, governor limit management techniques, bulk patterns, efficient and reliable trigger handling, and asynchronous operations.
• Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop & support customized solutions to integrate salesforce with other cloud platforms.
• Create and maintain documentation for custom-built functionality within Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience working as a Salesforce Developer at a high growth SaaS company.
• Experience with relational databases, data models and data integration tools/processes.
• Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit, including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com migration tool and Web Service.
• Fluent in Salesforce Query and Search Language (SoQL and SoSL). Must be able to speak to the limitations of languages and differences between SoQL and SQL.
• Certification: We love Salesforce certs!
