As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work with product developers to deploy a complex, microservices based product on Google Cloud, Kubernetes, MongoDB. Build tools and automation to ensure uptime and reliability of Harness’ products. You will sharpen your DevOps / SRE skill set by working with a company who is on the bleeding edge of software development, DevOps, and engineering automation. 

Responsibilities:

• Responding to and resolving technical emergenciesIterative analysis, modeling, testing, profiling of various java components of the SaaS application
• Documenting findings and recommendations for improvementMaintaining and enhancing deployment scripts, tools, and methodologies
• Ensuring efficient and scalable artifact deployments to production servers using automation scripts and other deployment tools
• Making recommendations to, and interfacing with engineering to ensure 100% application uptime
• Monitor the SaaS environment and work with QA, Developers, Ops to identify and solve problems

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree (minimum) in CS, EE, Physics, or related technical field 
• 7+ years experience, preferably with a complex, SaaS product at scale 
• Must have experience with developing and operationalizing system installations and upgrades
• Working knowledge with Kubernetes
• Strong Experience with Unix/Linux system administration in RedHat Linux (CentOS)
• Experience in administering Web Servers, App Servers, and DBs running J2EE applications
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB 
• Demonstrable experience with Ansible, Python and Terraform
• Experience supporting distributed micro service architecture
• Experience with environment monitoring in 24/7 web application and eCommerce environments
