Quantcast is hiring Senior Software Engineers (Front-End) to join the Product Engineering team in our San Francisco office.

As the real-time pulse of the Internet, Quantcast uses machine learning to drive human learning. In addition to this global network, Quantcast has engineered premier map-reduce and real-time processing clusters at a massive scale, processing an average of 30+ PB of data every single day for various machine learning and data mining applications. 

The Product Engineering team is responsible for developing products to deliver valuable Campaign and Audience insights, Consent Management to publishers and marketers. Having built successful Publisher and Marketer products, we are in the process of driving adoption and directing traffic with the help of consent signals. We therefore expand the team to take on this challenge to build state of the art Privacy and Identity products that collect consumer consent and enable the Advertise platform to target the right audience for our customers.

As a Senior Front End Software Engineer, you will help build and improve the applications for Privacy & Identity, Campaign Management and Insights. You will thrive in an environment where independent decision-making is the norm. Individuals in this role will be excited to keep up with the fast evolving technologies and apply it to our stack when and where applicable. You should be comfortable building world-class front end applications that are elegant, usable, accessible and maintainable with high performance.

Responsibilities

• You will work with your team to figure out product direction and customer needs in an agile environment.
• You will develop scalable Front End and reusable artifacts and frameworks.
• Develop privacy and compliance products and consent management solutions based on IAB Standards for top Publishers.
• Build and maintain Campaign Management and Insights for Publishers.
• You will collaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers for prototyping and provide them feedback on the designs.
• Share knowledge and best practices among the product engineering teams Participate in a team-wide on-call rotation to keep the systems ticking along.
• Develop tool sets that support a number of core business operations at Quantcast.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Javascript, HTML, ES5/6, CSS and layouts. 
• Experience with developing consumer facing web applications using React, Redux and Typescript.
• Strong understanding of various web technologies and MVC frameworks.
• Experience with JS multi-browser compatibility problems and performance optimizations.
• Experience with integrating with REST APIs to process JSON messages.
• Working knowledge of databases like Postgresql, Mysql etc.
• Passion for new technologies and driven to build the best products.
