As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will build a variety of high quality products that impact degree partners and learners, while working with engineers and many cross-functional stakeholders. You will also be a strong influence on the team by showing technical leadership in solving hard problems, mentoring other engineers and being an active thought partner to product, design and broader engineering leaders.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product and design to iterate and build delightful products
  • Play an integral part in architectural designs
  • Collaborate well with backend engineers to design APIs that are consistent with our front end needs
  • Long term ownership of components that the team is responsible for

Your skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant software engineering role
  • Strong ability to design and develop simple and elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Strong knowledge of Javascript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience in at least one modern web framework (e.g. ReactJS, AngularJS, Backbone.js, etc)
  • Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent experience
