About Your Role

You will be a key contributor on a small, collaborative team focused on one of the most exciting robotics applications today. In this impactful role, you will contribute to one or more of the following areas: autonomy onboard and offboard infrastructure, machine learning infrastructure, sensor data pipelines, and simulation.

About Your Work

• Develop cloud infrastructure to drive our autonomy software over millions of miles in simulation
• Manipulate petabytes of driving data for data analytics, machine learning, and metrics gathering
• Develop and improve onboard autonomy stack infrastructure on topics including but not limited to: logging, code deployment, network communication, memory management, task health monitoring, performance profiling etc.

About You

• You have a deep understanding of how computer systems work and can leverage that knowledge to build tooling and infrastructure for both real-time and distributed systems
• Experience writing production code and knowing how to design performant, maintainable systems
• Strong C++/Python programming skills

Nice to haves

• Experience deploying large-scale systems on cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, AWS, etc)
• Experience in safety-critical robotic applications
• Experience working with real-time systems, large-scale scalable software architectures, and large data sets
