Why Divvy?

At Divvy Homes, we're building an on-ramp to homeownership – one that's more flexible, more affordable, and an all-around better fit for today’s American family – and it’s working.

We are looking for a Capital Markets Lead / Senior Associate to help to scale up our capital structure, diversify, develop and manage relationships with our capital partners, ensure sufficient asset acquisition capacity and improve our cost of capital. The most critical step for us in the near term is to establish access to the ABS market in order to refinance our warehouse facilities. Over the medium term, we plan to prepare ourselves for a potential IPO, and the manager will play an important role in designing and implementing a medium- and long-term capital plan for Divvy with that in mind. Lastly, this person will play a critical role in working cross-functionally across Divvy — particularly with colleagues in product and engineering, operations, and accounting — to ensure coordination of allocation, reporting, and facility operations.

The Capital Markets Lead / Senior Associate would work with the VP of Capital Markets and the Capital Markets Team to:

  • Develop, manage and deepen relationships with our capital partners, both existing and new
  • Work with senior management and FP&A to design and implement a medium- and long-term capital plan for Divvy
  • Grow and develop the capital markets team
  • Ensure sufficient access to capital to support Divvy’s growth
  • Establish Divvy as a regular issuer in the ABS markets
  • Manage our existing warehouse lines, including facility operations and reporting
  • Continue to work to optimize our cost of capital
  • Drive the evolution and diversification of our capital structure, including developing and implementing new partnerships and funding channels
  • Be a thought leader within the finance org and across Divvy
  • Collaborate with teams across Divvy — product and engineering, operations, legal and accounting — to ensure coordination of allocation, reporting and facility operations
  • Work with senior management to begin preparation for an IPO

Qualifications and Experience:

  •  4+ years of experience in capital markets, structured products, investment banking, private equity and/or lending
  • Experience with fintech/proptech or other capital intensive growth industries is a plus
  • Experience with warehouse financing and/or asset-backed securitizations preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and execute on ambitious timelines
  • Alignment with and passion for the company's mission, vision and values
  • Strong and effective communication skills Ability to motivate, advise and collaborate with colleagues across all levels of the business
  • Hands-on mindset focused on getting things done; resourceful, strategic, and analytical, with a track record of discipline and resourcefulness
  • Comfortable with a rapidly changing and ambiguous work environment
  • A hustler with an unquestionable work ethic

Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

Divvy Homes is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We enthusiastically encourage individuals from a variety of lived experiences to reach out.
