About the Team

The Accounts Receivable team is looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our growing team. 

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Be in a customer-facing role with regards to billing and collection matters
  • Monitor outstanding account balances for determination of next steps in collections process
  • Respond to or provide resolutions for internal and external customers inquiries in a timely matter
  • Contact customers regarding past due invoices and accounts. Provide information as requested to facilitate remittance, such as vendor forms
  • Communicate internally with relevant departments to understand and resolve payment delays and billing queries
  • Process payment applications, correct errors, misapplied payments, create credit memo in AR module
  • Document and organize correspondence, log communication including emails and phone calls
  • Meet and develop billing and collection related KPIs/SLAs
  • Collect data and provide metrics around collections and aging
  • Report on collection and billing activities, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and accounts receivable aging status

We’re excited about you because…

  • You bring collection/billing (or related) background with at least 2 years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field - an advantage
  • Previous experience with Salesforce and Netsuite - a major advantage
  • Previous experience with Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Data-oriented with excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
  • High level of quality awareness, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently, multitask and handle various priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to take on ad hoc projects
