Blend's Finance team is growing like crazy and we are looking for someone amazing to come help guide and grow the function. The team is hard-working, razor-sharp, and very well-versed in the world of pre-IPO tech finance. Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue operations, payroll, technical accounting, and financial reporting
• Manage and review period end close to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Produce consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP including ASC606· Monitor, evaluate impact and implement new accounting standards and regulatory requirements based on evolving business changes
• Manage financial audit, banking, payroll, tax, 409A, and other finance related advisory relationships
• Own and manage all entities' compliance and filings, including tax filings, local filings for various states and all foreign entities' filings
• Provide leadership and vision for scaling the team and our financial infrastructure
• Mentor, coach and develop the financial operations and accounting team
• Create and implement short and long-term departmental objectives, policies, and operating procedures
• Provide finance leadership over contract review, revenue recognition, and commissions to sales team
• Own 401k and equity administration
• Evaluate opportunities for scale and growth and consider ways to drive efficiency and automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accountancy, Finance, or related degree
• CPA license required
• 10+ years of related experience
• High growth SaaS company experience required
• History of scaling and process improvement for finance and accounting operations
• Public accounting experience with a Big 4 firm strongly preferred
• Strong technical accounting skills (US GAAP) with demonstrated ASC 606/revenue recognition and consolidation experience
• Strong knowledge of non-GAAP industry metrics applicable to SaaS companies
• Exceptional cross functional and forward-thinking mindset
• IPO readiness experience
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce CPQ, Expensify or equivalent systems
