The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is an essential position with involvement in Financial Planning and Forecasting for Earnest, including monthly/quarterly/annual/multi-year forecasts, and annual business planning. You will have a high degree of technical skills in using and creating financial models for multiple areas within FP&A using Excel, SAS and other data tools. You will help analyze new business opportunities, and prepare materials for Executive meetings. You are compelled to use financial modeling tools to provide high-quality analytics to the management team. As the Director, FP&A, you will report to the CFO and you will:

  • Make recommendations for Model enhancements to increase efficiency and refine reporting.
  • Develop plans for Model enhancements
  • Review product line P&L's and communicate results to senior management 
  • Help research and communicate results comparing actual vs forecast and plan to senior executives monthly with insight on main drivers/trends
  • Oversee financial analysis when evaluating pricing, valuation and operational decisions
  • Review and manage flow and balance of work within group and assign duties and match workload to skill levels of staff

Ideal background and expertise:

  • 8+ years experience in financial analysis, financial services, corporate accounting or public accounting
  • 5+ years experience in financial modeling/forecasting
  • Management experience
  • Expertise in Modeling tools including SAS
