The Role
We’re looking for a Finance Associate to focus on special projects related to onboarding merchants to our In-Store product. This role will be a contract to start with the potential for extension or conversion to full time, depending on business needs and performance. The ideal candidate is content doing repetitive manual tasks and is able to understand how those tasks fit into the bigger picture.
Key Responsibilities
-Collect and enter data required for merchant onboarding
-Maintain meticulous records of data collected
-Perform data transaction and invoicing verification for accuracy of reporting to system and external payment provider information
-Identify and escalate potential issues, issue invoices and collect payments
-Maintain communication loops between cross-functional teams
Qualifications
-Experienced using Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
-Great communication skills including a willingness to ask questions
-A critical thinker who can connect the dots and notice when something looks out of place
-Familiarity with MicroStrategy
-Basic understanding of payments industry
