TrueAccord is hiring a Finance, Planning, and Analytics (FP&A) Manager.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will drive forecasting, planning and operational finance across the business. Often, this role will be the first to uncover things, from financial data, operational metrics, and/or gut feeling. You’ll work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including the executive team, functional leadership, and various internal and external business partners.
You’d be a critical member of the team, spotting new opportunities, filling the gaps, and raising the bar to enable TrueAccord to rapidly and thoughtfully scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, including owning business and revenue models
- Drive operational finance
- Optimize monthly, quarterly, & annual forecasting processes and variance reporting, partnering with our accounting team
- Head ad-hoc projects to support key business decisions, including assisting CFO in fundraising efforts, other investor requests, and key vendor negotiations
- Provide strategic insight and recommendations to the business on its financial performance, focusing on KPIs, trends, and analytics to help meet the company’s long-term growth plans
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives and functional leadership
- Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team
Requirements:
- A sharp intellect with an unquenchable curiosity
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or Science from a top university (MBA is not required)
- Either:
- 3+ years working at a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank, or private equity firm.
- 5+ years of Finance or FP&A, preferably at a growth-stage startup or tech company
- Expert Excel chops, including modeling and data analytics
- Basic SQL preferred; if none, willingness to learn
- Strong management and leadership skills, with an excitement to both roll up your sleeves and be a thoughtful, company-wide partner
- Results-oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful team player that excels in a dynamic environment
