Job Description

Wish is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for building, managing and owning financial models and conducting variance analysis. 

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical and consultative mindset, the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment delivering against tight deadlines, flexibility and adaptability to take on new projects, and a passion for scaling operations through automation. 

What you'll be doing:

  • ​​​​​​Prepare data for quarterly earnings, helping to identify key drivers of financial performance.
  • Monitor daily financial performance, explaining changes in trends, and anticipating future changes.

  • Assist with the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting of company consolidated financial statements.

  • Prepare monthly KPIs and other reports, analyzing key trends, highlighting variances, and identifying risks and opportunities.

  • Work on ad-hoc analyses, regularly streamline processes and workflows to help business leaders achieve company goals, and implement scalable solutions to improve and automate them.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of corporate finance experience from public company or equivalent roles in a high growth environment.

  • BA/BS in finance, accounting, economics, or a quantitative discipline from a reputable institution or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience working in high-growth company or division, working closely with cross-functional teams and operating managers.

  • Demonstrated experience producing accurate, board-level reporting, and operating in an environment with rigorous forecast and variance reporting accountability.

  • Must have advanced Excel skills.

  • Solid understanding of US GAAP financial statements. Internet/e-commerce experience is highly preferred.

  • Planful experience is a plus.
