Role Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical problem-solver, who is capable of both highly-detailed financial analysis and distilling complex problems into actionable insights. This is an opportunity to be a central part of SensorTowers transition into a hyper scaling startup. With the success we have experienced, we are growing quickly. As the first member of our FP&A team, you will own our budget and operating model, and will be tasked with ensuring that each department is working towards a common goal, and that SensorTower scales efficiently. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance and will also have a significant cross functional exposure. 

Responsibilities:

• Department Level Budgets: Partner with department leaders to build forecasts, understand priorities, construct financial budgets, track functional spend, and develop KPIs
• Period Close: Manage monthly close with Head of Accounting
• Forecasting: Support the development of SensorTower’s annual and multi-year financial forecasts and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders into financial planning
• KPIs: Identify and measure key performance indicators that drive business performance
• Strategic Planning: Own and manage ad hoc / strategic projects to support senior management and business initiatives based on operational performance
• Drive complex financial modeling development, enhancement, and maintenance
• Reporting Requirements: Create presentations and reports to inform senior leadership on the financial performance of their teams and provide guidance on near-term and long-term opportunities and risks
• Efficiency: Partner closely with the business to understand detailed drivers of spending, drive improvement and efficiency and perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support investment decisions
• Systems: Use systems such as Netsuite, Salesforce, Bill.com to analyze details and plan to optimize systems
• Sales Finance: Serve as a key partner and liaison for the Finance organization to the Sales and Revenue Operations teams for sales forecasting and strategy
• Strategic Financial Partner: Serve as Finance’s strategic partner to each of SensorTower’s departments and assist functional leaders with analysis on spend, strategic planning activities, and enhancing operational efficiency
• Board Management: Help prepare financial results, insights, and analyses for recurring and ad hoc requests to the board of directors

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a technical finance role such as Investment Banking, FP&A, or management consulting
• Strong financial modeling and quantitative skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another technical field
• Excellent Excel skills and strong working knowledge Microsoft Office / Google Suite
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environmentIntellectually curious, self-starter who is not afraid to seek out projects independently
• Team player with a strong work ethic

Extra Credit:

• Prior experience with Software as a Service companies
• Experience in Netsuite and Salesforce
