ABOUT THE ROLE

The Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Administrator position is an important role in our Risk team at Varo and will report to the Risk Platform Manager. The Risk Platform team manages the suite of tools used across Risk Management. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation and user support for the GRC RSA Archer platform and other Risk tools and reporting functions. This position offers the ability to work across the various risk functions, interact with senior leaders and business partners across the Firm to help define Archer to solve real business challenges and deliver measurable benefits for risk management.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Administer the GRC RSA Archer platform, facilitate defining business requirements, process design and solution configuration.
  • Evolve and support the GRC platform, establishing an environment that promotes continuous process improvement. Functionality to be built includes risk and control assessments, information security and policy governance. 
  • Define and execute on improvement projects that aim at user experience, enhanced functionality, data management and reporting.
  • Identify future functionality for the GRC tool and drive the project plan for completion of a bank ready GRC system.
  • Manage the ERM WatchTower tool for measuring key metrics across Risk 
  • Develop business intelligence reporting functionality to support the risk management analytics and reporting requirements of Risk and lead that function once it is stood up.
  • Collaborate\partner with all business units to integrate risk requirements into their processes and culture.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES THAT'LL HELP YOU BE GREAT

  • Ability to communicate\collaborate effectively with team members, internal customers, senior management and the board
  • Knowledge of risk data analytics and business intelligence frameworks
  • Implementing new systems in the risk domain
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working in multiple data environments, including cloud
  • Extensive experience working with banking regulatory requirements, particularly OCC, FDIC, and Federal Reserve Board
  • Experience reporting\presenting to the senior management
