About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Account to own revenue recognition and support the implementation of a revenue and billing automation software (Zuora). Being the trusted partner to Sales Operations, you will ensure proper billing for services and prompt revenue recognition and ensure the scalability of systems and processes in a high growth SaaS environment. 

Specifically you will:

• Own Software Revenue Recognition with Multiple arrangement (ASC 606 and IFRS 15) for SaaS
• Work with deferred revenue, churn, and renewals
• Take an active role in Zuora implementation
• Managing full cycle billings, collections and follow-up with customers
• Work closely with Sales Operations and other teams to ensure that proper billings for services, expenses reimbursement, revenue recognition etc. takes place
• Own full cycle Accounts Payable operations including vendor set up, invoice vouchering, and payment; corporate cards reconciliation and employee expense reimbursements via Expensify
• Support Controller with selected month end closing tasks and intercompany accounting matters
• Prepare JE’s and related account reconciliations while providing analysis for fluctuations for assigned accounts
• Support CFO for various reporting projects and system configurations
• Develop and improve internal processes assuring compliance and high accuracy of accounting records, document desktop procedures
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned

Your Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from accredited institution 
• Big 4 CPA or 2+ years public company SaaS revenue recognition experience 
• Strong understanding of revenue accounting rules under ASC 606 and IFRS 15 
• 5+ years hands on experience with GL accounting, month end, reconciliations, and financial reporting 
• Experience in the preparation of audited financial statements, reporting activities and monthly closing activities
• Strong understanding and use of IFRS / US GAAP including experience in complex accounting issues and application of accounting principles 
• Advanced Excel including Pivot tables and V-Lookups 

Bonus Points For

• Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify and Zuora 
• Experience in general ledger accounting for large, multi-national organization
