About the role:
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Ginger you will be playing an integral role within FP&A by identifying key drivers, highlighting trends and ROI, and driving process efficiencies that will drive data-driven business decisions. You will be supporting multiple parts of FP&A with the opportunity to own certain areas dependent on what suits best for the team and yourself. Responsibilities:
- Help build financial budgets & forecasts and perform analyses on variances to actuals
- Support detailed short term and long range planning models to forecast our business and provide insights to optimize our growth and performance
- Build product specific models and ROI analyses
- Partner with team leads to define key metrics and build and/or automate reporting to monitor and analyze performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variances
- Support business performance reporting through the preparation of internal and external reporting packages
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Apply advanced G-Suite and Office skills to ensure that Finance creates visually impactful slides for executive and Board-level presentations
- Design new processes, enhance existing reports, and build new models that make our financial data more relevant
- Assist with and manage frequent ad hoc projects to support
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of relevant progressive Finance experience in a fast-paced and high growth environment, including FP&A, investment banking or consulting
- Superior analytical, problem solving skills with experience building financial models
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
- Ability to forge strong relationships and partner with other departments at all levels of the organization
- Displays a high level of genuine curiosity about our business, asks lots of questions, and exhibits eagerness to learn
- Ability to navigate through vast amounts of data, identify patterns and make relevant management decisions
- Advanced skills in Excel, G-suite, specifically Google Sheets and Slides, including ability to build dynamic financial models and presentations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Preferably is experienced with SaaS business models
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Can thrive without a lot of structure and management
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau) is a plus
