This role will be based in our headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Essential Job Functions

• Review contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards (ASC 606) in a SAAS environment.
• Assist in data scrub in preparation for upcoming audit and system implementation project.
• Key contributor in the revenue close process; prepare revenue and deferred revenue analyses and related journal entries
• Participate in ad hoc projects
• Assist in gathering support for annual external audit
• Acute sense of detail for data accuracy and integrity
• Embrace ambiguity
• Be a consummate team player
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role or combined audit/industry experience
• Experience applying revenue accounting (ASC 606 and ASC 340)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in parallel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to strong oral written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a detail-oriented mindset
• Advanced Excel skills, Google Docs & Google Sheets experience is a plus
• Experience with Netsuite a plus 
• Big 4 public accounting experience is preferred 
• CPA license is a plus
