The Role


Divvy Homes is looking for a Senior Treasury Associate to join our growing team. This position will oversee cash management and payments for multiple business units. This position plays an integral role in accurately transferring cash to our debt facilities, managing daily cash flow and liquidity, processing vendor and employee payments, and ensuring no fraudulent activity is occurring. We are seeking someone capable of potentially learning multiple accounting functions, and eager to jump in and help the team in a myriad of ways. This position will report to the Controller.

 

Your colleagues on the accounting team are comprised of public, banking, and startup alumni, and this role will have constant interaction across all departments. A self-starter that can execute the task at hand and be a forward thinker on how to improve the process, will surely succeed in this role.


Minimum Qualifications


-4-5+ years of related experience

-Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to work well in a team

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-Experience in NetSuite, Bill.com, Brex, and Expensify

-Candidate must be process-oriented with the ability to critically review current procedures and policies and recommend and implement changes across multiple departments

 

What you’ll be doing


-Work with financial operations team on weekly funding requests

-Manage and record daily cash receipts to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments and receipts across multiple business units

-Manage bank reconciliations in our ERP system (NetSuite)

-Document and process payments (Wires/ACH/Checks) with a high rate of accuracy

-Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

-Manage vendor payments and employee reimbursements

-Manage company liquidity

-Learn other treasury functions as appropriate

-Ensure timely responses to all business inquiries
