We’re looking for a Strategic Finance Manager at Divvy who will thrive with the opportunity to build best-in-class finance practices in a category-leading prop tech company. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is able to identify key business drivers and translate those into tangible, actionable frameworks or initiatives (e.g. an operating model). Success in this role looks like Divvy making smart finance and data driven decisions, automatically and naturally.

This role will involve partnership with business leaders across Operations and Sales, as well as external stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication will be expected, as will the ability to juggle multiple projects on tight timelines. 2021 is an exceptionally exciting time to be in real estate, and we are excited to find the perfect candidate to come join Divvy. This role is remote friendly.

Some examples of what you’ll do...

• Become the finance partner for specific departments at Divvy. Ensure that team leaders have the appropriate financial reporting to hit targets, building any necessary reporting that does not exist. Establish goals and create the ability to track progress to targets. Take the lead on any strategic analyses that the department requires (e.g. changes to existing products, pricing, new markets).
• Create and refine the processes and systems that will allow Divvy’s finance function to scale. Establish internal liquidity and capital management practices and treasury procedures, in tandem with Accounting, that scale with Divvy as we expand our capital sources. Take the lead as the business stakeholder to outline the vision and interface with the Product / Engineering leads on implementation
• Build Divvy’s knowledge base in order to quickly evaluate strategic questions. Develop, monitor and update a strategic landscape of the proptech environment (comps, valuation, targets, bolt-on products, etc.) Develop and analyze corporate development and business development opportunities
• Establish investor relations cadence and build relationships with long term capital partners. Plan and execute the creation of an investor relations cadence / function. Work closely with the head of strategic finance and the executive team on broader strategic initiatives and fundraising efforts
