Responsibilities: Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Serve as an internal consultant for the Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support teams for all things data and analytics. Develop research questions, form hypothesis, and design research methods to answer high level and strategical questions and to explore growth opportunities in collaboration with leadership, and functional areas. Solve analytical problems that have a direct and considerable impact on Autodesk Construction Services. Translate broad business goals into testable hypotheses and actionable recommendations. Develop an end-to-end understanding of Data & Analytics, from ETL to Dashboarding to Predictive Modeling. Create easy-to-consume dashboards of key metrics; monitor and share insights at a frequent cadence. Visualize data to communicate performance and impact of various product changes. Build basic machine-learning models to help generate predictive insights. Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing. Support teams to define and design better products, improve user experience, and inform overall business strategy. Use modern data-stack (FiveTran, Snowflake, DEBT, Looker, Tableau, Github, etc) to move quickly and learn relevant industry technologies. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Some telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a business analytics-related occupation. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Some telecommuting is permitted.

Special Requirements: Position requires at least 4 years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Experience with utilizing project management experience to coordinate cross-functional projects involving various internal stakeholders.
  • Experience serving as an internal consultant for leadership teams.
  • Experience identifying new growth opportunities for the business and design initiatives to execute on those.
  • Experience utilizing knowledge of Design Thinking and workshop facilitation to empower internal stakeholders ideate challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience using knowledge of process design to identify improvement potentials for business operations.
  • Experience utilizing knowledge of Technology Enablement and Digital Transformation to establish modern SaaS practices.
  • Experience utilizing data-storytelling techniques, creating data visualizations, and building easy-to-consume dashboards.

Position also requires at least some experience or one (1) semester of graduate-level coursework in the following skill:

  • Experience with querying, manipulating and analyzing large data sets using SQL and knowledge of statistics.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $162,800 - $200,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
