Bolt is hiring a Contracts Manager to join our growing legal team. This position will report to the Senior Counsel and focus on reviewing, revising and managing contracts across the organization, administering our contract management system, developing legal team processes and building out legal operations infrastructure to support our team and the organization as we scale. The ideal candidate is pragmatic, comfortable making bold decisions, can operate independently and is effective working cross-functionally. This is an amazing opportunity to help build out the legal team at a fast-growing technology company.

What you will do:

  • Review, revise and manage a wide variety of legal contracts and agreements
  • Own legal operations software solutions and other tools, including contract management and project management systems
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date process playbooks and legal procedure documentation
  • Prepare legal template libraries and maintain the legal team wiki page and other shared legal team resources
  • Serve as the legal team’s subject matter expert on contracts and contracting processes via cross functional collaboration and perform trainings as needed
  • Project manage various legal team initiatives
  • Support special legal projects and tasks as required
  • Identify and scope legal team needs, manage design, rollout and training for new technology tools and systems always striving to improve legal team operational efficiency
  • Organize the legal team through administrative rigor and attention to detail

What would set you up for success:

  • At least four years of relevant experience, including in-house experience, ideally at a technology company
  • Expertise in commercial transactions and contracting processes
  • Strong experience in developing, implementing, and using legal department technology solutions (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign & Salesforce)
  • Team player who embraces responsibility, thrives in an intense, fast-paced environment and is unafraid to make decisions
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of internal partners
  • Adept multi-tasker with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks effectively and independently
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Impeccable integrity and great judgment
